Welcome to Moretown Elementary School, home of the bobcat.  Our preK- grade 6 school of approximately 150 students is nestled in the historic village of Moretown, Vermont, surrounded by mountains, open fields and the Mad River.   Our average class size is currently 14 students, and our school colors are red and white.

Our school is strongly connected to the community and enjoys tremendous support from families and community members.  At Moretown School we strive to help each student realize their many gifts as we develop a community of support and learning opportunities that challenge and stretch each learner.

Joy, kindness, perseverance, celebration and critical thinking are all part of our daily experiences at MES.  We offer a weekly outdoor education experience for every student preK through grade 6 at MES, where students learn valuable life skills and content knowledge.

Our school is part of the Harwood Unified Union School District (HUUSD), containing five elementary schools, two middle schools and one high school.
