January 3, 2025
Happy New Year! I trust that our Moretown students and families had a restful and fulfilling holiday season. It was wonderful to welcome students back this morning, see them excitedly reconnect with classmates and to hear about their adventures these past few weeks.
Our PTO-sponsored Winter Sports Program will start on Tuesday, January 14th. MES kindergarten students will spend Tuesday afternoons XC skiing here at school while students in grades 1-6 will travel to Sugarbush to ski or ride down the slopes. We will send out specific program information as our start date gets closer, but in the meantime we ask that you make sure your student has the gear they need to find success on the slopes or the trails.
I hope our students have a nice weekend after an extra short week of school this week. I look forward to welcoming our students back on Monday.
Ms. Kate
Great news!
We have completed the required sampling for Radon at Moretown Elementary School and are happy to report, all tested areas are well below the EPA action level of 4.0 pCi/L.
Ski Program
Families please be sure to send in your child's ski participation check or pay your invoice if you haven't done so already. We are looking forward to the first day on snow, January 14th. Students came home with a reminder list of gear needed weekly for skiing. If you have any questions about this please contact Natessa Cournoyer at [email protected].
