Bobcat Bulletin v. 7

October 11, 2024

The weather has transitioned to colder days and with it is our need to be prepared for all types of weather.  We encourage students to dress in layers for our cold mornings and our warmer middles.  We ask that families start sending in warmer clothing, especially on ECO days.  If you are in need of warm cold weather clothing for your student, please reach out to the school.

Next week we welcome our community to join us for our Open House festivities on Thursday, October 17th from 5:30-6:30.  Our PE Teacher, Kae Zaino, will be hosting a community biking event from 4:30-5:30 on our pump track and we encourage bike riders of all ages and abilities to join us.  Do note that the school is not open to the public until 5:30.

We are once again collecting Halloween candy for the homes in the village.  Neck of the Woods afterschool students will deliver the candy to our neighbors before Halloween so that the village is ready for our spooky students to knock on their doors! Please consider donating a bag by bringing it to our main office.

Speaking of Halloween, you may have noticed our collection of costumes hanging out front of our building.  The Girls Scouts are doing another costume exchange this year! Feel free to bring costumes that kids have outgrown or don't want and grab a new one for this year.  You don't have to bring a costume to take one.  More information about the exchange is below in our Community Offering section.

If you have not yet completed the Winter Sports Program form, we ask that you do so prior to October 16th.  If you have completed this form and plan to rent from Slope Style or borrow from the school, you MUST complete these Slope Style forms on their website. Please contact Natessa Cournoyer ([email protected]) with any questions.

We hope that all of our students and families have an enjoyable long weekend!  We look forward to welcoming students back on Tuesday, October 15th.

Ms. Kate
