We had a perfect blue bird day to spend outdoors at North Branch Nature Center! We want to thank them for their generosity of space and time as they welcomed our K-6 students to their campus. Students enjoyed time creating art in nature, roasting marshmallows over a fire, exploring and investigating animal artifacts, taking a short hike and spending time together. Tomorrow K-6 students will head south to the Montshire Museum to spend the day exploring science. We are requesting that students wear appropriate shoes to be outdoors for a short nature walk, a warm coat, have a filled water bottle and a nut-free snack. Additionally, the gift shop will not be an option for our students so please keep any additional money at home.
We want to thank you all for your support and encouragement as we navigate through this strange week. This community, and our teachers, are beyond special!
We look forward to seeing our students at the rec field in the morning.
