Special ECO Edition

Eco has started at Moretown Elementary!

Students were beaming from ear to ear as they came back to school from their base camps yesterday.  Stories of worms and forts were excitedly shared at lunch tables and there was no shortage of mud in the hallways.  ECO has returned to MES!

We'd like to send a special "thank you" to Lindsey Vandal, Karen Cingiser and Pete Kerby-Miller (North Branch Nature Center) for being our resident naturalists and ECO partners.  The energy and expertise these three have is unparallaled and we are thrilled to be working with them again this year.

Please enjoy these photos from our first Educating Children Outdoors (ECO) session.

This is Addae.  Addae works with our preschool students in Ms. Jenny's class and spent their first day in the forest yesterday!
